I mean if you're looming for a salvage title with matching numbers that might be easier.

Hmmm, If your screen name is implying that you bought your first Camaro when you were 19 yrs old.....join the club!!! Bought mine at 19 and still have it. Yes, it is a documented Z/28 as well. I put maybe 150 - 200 miles on it a year. Nope, I don't wanna sell it either, sorry. You'll find them, but they aren't cheap as you well know.

I have one, its an X33 car with original motor and trans in the garage, I checked the numbers) I have most of the original parts except it has some uppgrades. Nothing you could not put back to bone stock with work. It has a built 383 and Tremec TKO600 5 speed OD trans it it now with original 3.73 posi 12 bolt. I know its worth a bunch. Not sure if I want to sell it!

Have you tried TeamCamaro over at Camaros.net?
They've got a pretty good classified section.

Just keep your eye out. Search craigslist, ebay, autotraderclassic, and those sites. Every now and then I see some in rougher shape less than 20 grand. I am in the market for a 69 as well, but I don't want numbers matching since I plan to build a pro touring, fuel injected car. Some people have it in their head that ALL 69's are worth stupid money no matter the condition. Good luck!
