So are they being built on order date alone or by dealer size and order date

My 2010 2SS/RS SIM, LS3 was ordered on 10/13/08 and delivered on 5/9/09!

my dealer just emailed me this "Your car order was updated last Friday but it didn't change the 3300 status. I am seeing an expected delivery date on one of the order inquiry pages of 04/06/09 to 04/26/09. It still doesn't show a build date though. I am guessing it will be built next week"
