Need info on turbo / SC

So I have decided to start saving for a single-turbo or a supercharger for my 2010 SS LS3. However, I don't know much about them and I am unsure about the costs. So if you guys could help me answer a few questions and provide some additional info / experience, it would be greatly appreciated!

1) If i decide to go for the single-turbo, would i need to change any of the internals? Same goes for the supercharger.

2) I have been looking at whipple, kennbell, and edlebrock for superchargers. As for the single turbo I have been looking at Fastlane. How are the numbers on these particular units? (I read the manufacture dynos, but im curious as to how others stacked up).

3) Referring to #2, roughly how much should i expect to have spent all set and done? I may try to find a used one but I guessing somewhere between $7-9k in total. Is that realistic?

4) Any additional advice or info would be great!

Thank you

7-9k seems about right or maybe a little low

I have been humming and hawing over the same thing
Finally decided to go to turbonetics single top mount system
With an upgraded fuel system only plus catch can

Will run 5.5lbs

And I will be happy very happy with 500-540 rwhp

It will be stealth and lethal

These cars rock

Let's see if I can give you some insight here:

1 - You can keep your stock internals with turbo or supercharger. Just remember to keep the power levels conservative for your factory components.

2 - I am quite partial to our manufactured kit. We offer a full ECS Gen V Supercharger system featuring the Novi SL1500 supercharger. The ECS Gen V system features the same belt wrap, idlers, and bracket style as all of our 100% proven C5/C6 systems. Proof is in the E/T, as we still hold numerous world records for the LSx superchargers, such as, the worlds fastest late model supercharged Corvette (E/T 8.41 @ 154mph), & the stock bottom end supercharged C5 record (E/T 9.73 @ 144mph).

We have made over 800+ rwhp on stock bottom end LS3's with our kit. Then with the addition of our Hardcore Edition RHS 427 packages we have already plateaued the 1000rwhp mark!

3 - Fully installed turn-key for $7995 at our installation facility OR $6495 for the kit over the counter.

4 - No matter what kit you go with, it will be a very nice improvement for your 5th gen Camaro. Just remember when buying look towards the future. Our kit is setup that you will not have to upgrade any hard components for higher HP applications. You can make 850rwhp with our base kit, then all you need to go 1k+ rwhp is a change out on the supercharger. Bolts right up to the same brackets that you already have. A lot of supercharger companies will sell you plastic idlers, 6-rib only based kits, that have no expandability down the line.

Once again though, anyway you decide to go will be quite fun with the boost.

ECS makes awesome stuff. Local guy is getting an ECS done as soon as his headers show up.

If you want 650 or less RWHP then stock ls3 is fine. $7-10k for everything is good. Things like a clutch should be considered when adding that much power.
