pretty sure only the TA's had sub's in the sail panel, i had to replace both of mine and the site i bought from clearly stated they would not work in the camaro.

That's correct. It was one of the selling points (aside from the badass looks) of the T/A. 10 Speaker Monsoon with 4 tweeters, 4 speakers, and the subs in the sail panels. Camaro had I believe 8 with the subs and speakers being merged and installed in the sail panels. Essentially the T/A vert's system in a chevy because they couldn't put the sail subs in the nonexistent convertible sail panel, and probably had the same in both Vert and conventional top Camaros.

Too lazy to check my sources so someone do it for me.. kthxbai.

Just do your research, and don't cut the harness wires. Try to splice connectors into the new speakers. Also look into this:

http://shop.doubledmods.com/main.sc

^ They sell full audio setups tailored to the 4th gen!

Both have subs. The difference is that the TA has a dual voice coil sub where as the Camaro has a single voice coil sub.

Clay bar, polish, wax? or Polish, wax?

Ohh why am I even asking, you guys know I have no life and already decided to clay it!

In other news, we have had almost no snow here in Billings this year, which is extremely abnormal. But very advantageous for me and my lack of desire to drive in the snow!

Dude, aside from the occasional 45* day, it's just been cold and dry here in Ohio too. Relish it while it lasts dude.. and if you have ASC use it!

Well... Apparently I've been on a stereo kick the last few weeks. I got my Pyle 3-way door speakers in today, while drinking out of my new camaro coffe cup and wearing my camaro t-shirt... lol

I also chose to spend all my christmas money on.. A subwoofer and amp!
So, I got a Kicker 10" CompVR sub 400W RMS 800W peak and a Rockford Fosgate Punch Monoblock amp. Both have some good reviews, and weren't too expensive. I'm in the process of building myself a stealthbox for the rear hatch, I was planning oin doing a fiberglass one, but I figured I'd be better off using some MDF rather than dealing with the potential mess

I'll keep you all updated, Sub and amp will be delivered on Thursday.. hopefully I'll get them in that night because all day friday I'll be up skiing here:
Man I love Montana....

Just remember to lock the T-Tops if you ever decide to blast it. Then again, keep them locked at all times. There's a specific reason I'm staying stock on my stereo (aside from changing out the speakers when OEM replacements are nonexistant).

At least you're doing it while the aftermarket for the wiring is still there. Who knows what'll happen in 10-15 years when some of us will be forced to upgrade after the 13th blown sub.

Well, dropped my car off at the mechanic.. Getting my idle issue fixed hopefully! Hope it's cheap and quick! I love that I can hear them start it out in the parking lot and drive it in. Sounds good
