V6 rims on my SS

I recently traded my 2lt for a 2ss..I still have my oem rims from my 2lt (19")..I am considering powder coating the 19s black and installing them on my SS..are there any fit issues with the brembo brakes and are there any benefits to going to a smaller tire..

Verrry curious is to how they dont clear the brembos.... I've seen quite a few SS' with some 17" wheels on that are barely clearing. How or why do 19" not??? Same bolt pattern and everything I would think. I mean they are both the same car.

The 19's should fit. I don't think the 18" Heritage rims for the LS will on the later model SS with the roller skate style Brembo's.

If your brakes aren't squealing yet, they will. Best to leave room for the skates if you can...

So there is a problem with SS brakes squealing? What are skates?

It's not just the size, it's the offset. A 19 inch wheel may not fit where a 17inch will simply because of the offsets.
