I got mine at $2K under MSRP in the GTA. I'm also wondering about the finance rates. But I'm pretty sure they will be higher that my mortgage so i'm just going to buy it outright.

MSRP and so far GMAC has not offered a rate on Camaro so if they dont which is possible you will have to find financing or usually the dealers have good relationshipd wiht financers and get a better rate for you (1/2 to full point better usually)

I would expect that there will be GMAC financing available after September though but not quite as good as the big sellers like Impala, Malibu, etc. It will go something like Corvette ! No deals unless inventory is up. That wont be the case wiht Camaro for a while , unless the economy really goes to chit and they have over supplied the Camaro ! Then look for deals.

Good luck man!

I had an order with a smaller dealer Late January and when he couldnt move the event code I cancelled and went shopping , ended up with a big dealership and things happened quick!

Why dont you shop around cause you can cancel any time before event 2500!

Hey, I'm in Edmonton, too. Did you receive a quote for the 1ss? Do you know what invoice is for this in Canada? Thanks!

Car offered at MSRP, came to $44,5, dealer actually said to stay away from GMAC, worst rates in Canada! They apparently have another few avenues that they use for financing so I'm leaving it to them.

I guess I could have elaborated. The 47 grand total was for a 2SS black 6spd manual with RS package, ground effects, body colored engine cover.

I am paying full MSRP. My dealer said they would not be charging over, but they would not be cutting deals at this time either...which I thought was more than fair.

I may be going through the bank if GMAC wants 8% though. I'm sure we can get better interest rates than that.

Question to my fellow Canadians. Went to a dealer and discussed pricing. They quoted MSRP for a 2LT at $33,670. When I checked GM.CA it lists MSRP at $31,595. Is this a dealer markup, error??

Thanks in advance for your help.

$1,400 destination charge and what color did you ask about? I would call them and ask why the discrepancy.

$1,400.00 to delivery my car from Oshawa to Brampton (45 mins). Good old fashion Canadian socialism, while OUR72GTO pays the same and gets it shipped clear across the country. Always happy to subsidize your shipping costs
