worst color to care for?

black is probably atop the list, blue probably second. silver probably last. i have heard paint on the camaro is "not good," but no one has really defined what that means. is it too soft or actually bad paint? soft means delicate but doesn't denote lesser quality.

i'm considering red, orange, and blue right now. i don't know which i will choose. silver and white are my least favorite colors but also show the least amount of imperfections, while black looks awesome but i refuse to own black due to the amount of imperfections it can show. i keep the paint on all of my cars in immaculate condition, so i am just curious what others' experiences are with the different colors.

i will probably do the clear bra on the front bumper regardless, so we can leave that part of the car out of the discussion.

The paint is very fragile. Its not just with Camaros these days but the design of the Camaro makes the issue worse. The front bumper and gills take a beating because they face the road. A clear bra is a great solution though for those areas... as well as the rest of the car.

As far as colors black is always the worst to upkeep. Anything else is really fine as long as you are willing to dedicate the time to maintain the vehicle.

Yep, black tops the list of biggest pain in the butt to care for simply b/c it shows EVERYTHING, but every color comes with some kind of challenge.

I would say black is the worst but you cant deny that its a sweet looking when its clean. I am partial to Silver ice since thats what I have and even though I wash mine about every other week , even when its dirty you really cant tell which I like.

I hate to say it, Kiteman, but if you haven't ordered yet, you are probably going to have to knock blue off of your list. You might be able to find what you are looking for on a lot, but because of the Japanese Tsunami, IBM and CGM are currently unavailable. I love my IBM, and I hope they come up with a solution soon for those that wanted this color, but it is currently not on the list.

You have to enjoy (carefully) washing your Camaro if it's black.....and I do

The depth of gloss is unbeatable. Literally looks like you could dive into it.

SGM or IBM are, in my opinion, spectacular colors. I wasn't planning to purchase a black Camaro...but the combination of color, wheels & tint was irresistible. My last sports car was blue, and it would have been difficult to top that Electron Blue ('02 Vette).

I would say a black car is the worst to care for but if you care for it properly it is the most rewarding of colors.
