175 or so without the limiter, at a low altitude like death valley desert.

There are drag race strips in most states (cant get to top speed but can go nice and fast there), plus you could go to a special event like the "Texas Mile" etc that let you run it out.

I have personally verified my limiter on my LS3 kicks in at 155 mph.
wait...it doesn't count as a street racing story if I was by myself and no one else around, does it? |
