Ok Im stumped. I bought a BAP from a member and installed . Went to wire it up and cut the red with white wire that goes to plug on FPCM behind passenger side 1/4 trim and vehicle wont start. Reconnect 2 wires and vehicle starts. Check GM website and look up wiring and find that pink wire and gray wire lead directly to pump. Wire it up and vehicle runs great. I have read and been told that this is INCORRECT....which I DO NOT DOUBT......So what am I doing wrong ?

but thats the wire I used..red/white .. msd BAP ..there were a few red wire back there..

Im gonna try the whipple way....... cause this way dont work ....
