LS3 A6 M6, whats the diff how do you tell?

Call me a noobie if you will but I have been wanting one of these since they were first brought up as coming back. Now finally I have purchased by baby. The only thing I don't know is i have been seeing a lot of A6 and M6 talk when it comes to the ls3.how do you know which one you have and what's the difference? Thank you for any info

A6 = automatic transmission

M6 = manual transmission

If you have 2 pedals you have an automatic.

If you have 3 pedals you have a manual.

LS3 means you have the manual 6-speed (M6)

L99 means you have the automatic 6-speed (A6)

Yea now I feel like a tard...I was seeing somewhere ls3 a6, I auto identify ls3 with the manual and l99 automatic hence the confusion when I saw LS3 A6..
