Its a bit of a haul to the PSL, but I'm sure I'll make it up sometime. If I was in town this weekend I would head up for the movie opening. Jupiter I can handle though. Maybe I can come by before the PBIR night.

Check online for helmets. I bought a full-face helmet for $120 years ago. Here's the 2011 NHRA rule:
HELMET
For all 10.00 to 13.99 closed-bodied cars, either an open-face or a full-face Snell M2000, M2005, M2010, K2005, SA2000, SA2005,
SA2010, SFI 31.1A, 31.1/2005, 31.2A, 41.1A, 41.1/2005, or 41.2A helmet with or without a shield is mandatory required.

For all 9.99 and quicker closed-bodied cars, a full-face Snell M2000, M2005, M2010, K2005, SA2000, SA2005,
SA2010, SFI 31.2A or 41.2A helmet mandatory; shield permitted (goggles prohibited).

Damn. I've never run 1/4mi in KITT... I guess I'm buying a helmet anyway.

What's a good site/local store for helmets?

Try this site. Helmets aren't cheap! At least the good ones aren't. Just sort it by price.

Hey TCC5 anyone in your group have a camaro with cam and heads because we might have to make another category because we have a member thats in the middle it wouldn't be fair to run him in the SC category but it wouldn't be fair to the other SS's if he runs with them so let me know if you have someone

once again remember theres NO GUARANTEE we would be paired, if we do thats great but I think we should just play it safe and at the end of the night whoever has the fastest time in each category wins that category, and whoever has the most winners in each category per club wins the battle... regardless we are still a month away so we got time to figure it out

but thats not really heads-up racing because it wouldn't be fair if the race was close we should do like red dragon said like 4 or 5 fastest times time slips go head to head and just narrow it down from there and don't worry about getting paired up we wont have a problem with that you pair up with who ever you want remember i go there almost every test tune that i have my car and i pair up with who ever i want ask G200 Pilot we paired up every time

I Agree with Vigoa.... Time slips are BS you can run a fast time once and never see that time again... Top 4 times go Head to Head... Of course you can match up... You pair up in line and line up together.. Vigoa and others have WAYYY more experience at this then the majority of us combined..
We use your method in order to establish the top 4 racers then run it Head to Head...
Easy as drinking Beer...

Lets just wait and see ..like I said theres still a MONTH ... when we get there well get there.. this isnt a $1000 cash prize race either... it IS for FUN!!! and of course bragging rights... I have never been there im just going from what I heard and what I heard was that on a friday night at pbir your lucky to get 2-3 runs in .. so I dont think we should set up vs and then if it cant happen then what??
but w.e Ive said my piece you guys can set it up how u want, ill be there either way

I dont mind vigoas way I actually thought thats how we should do it in the beginning Im just trying to play it safe but like I said Im not going to be the one who decides how to do it just stating how we can play it safe in case we dont match up or w.e

I concur with Stephen ( camarovigoa ). The track people are very accommodating to us. It will not be an issue... It's gonna be a lot of fun!
