I was very interested in these until I read this on their site:

You will need a wiring harness and it does require some trimming on the backside of the bumper. Where you have to modify the bumper is not seen because it is covered by the light and also by the housing cover.

We do not have any mounting brackets but any type of zip tie is good in case you ever have to remove them for repair.

Is the above pic with the black option and the HID 4300k?
Is there a warranty, 1 year ?

The HIDs will carry a Lifetime warranty. We get the Hella projectors with a chrome housing but we can open up the lights and paint the housing black so it matches the factory headlights.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. In order to mount these you need to cut off the existing mounts and strap these into place.

In order to mount anything the uses a real projector you will need to cut out the existing fog light mount. There is just not any depth in the existing fog lights, they are extremely shallow. Projectors need depth in order to function properly.



The shallow reflector light work like this:



Any "projector" replacements that do not require you to cut away the existing basket to mount the deeper projector is not worth upgrading, you may as well leave in the existing reflectors.

I think it would be a cool idea of this if it mounted to the mounts that already exist....create something then id like to buy these projector fogs
