Convenience and connectivity Package

Why would it be available for the 1LT and not the 1SS?

Thumbs down

That's the $4000 question. In order to get the CC package on an SS you need to order a 2SS. I think this sucks. If you did not want leather seats but wanted the "Bluetooth" you're screwed.

I figured the interior of the 1SS would be on par with the 1LT, not the 1LS.

well if you think about it, as far as interiors go, the 1SS is the base V8 while 2SS is the top V8.
the LS is the base V6 while the 2LT is the top V6. the 1LT is just a middle step

That still doesn't make the LS and the 1SS the same. If that was true the RS package would be available for the LS or not available for the 1SS. This is the only option available for the 1LT that is not available on the 1SS.

i understand, & it stinks (for those who care - i really don't), but that's the way they decided to market it. other than that, i don't really know what to tell you

Voice your opinion here.

Poll: What should be available on the 1SS that is only available on the 2SS?

Sorry if that answer sounded kind of cold, I was up till 2 am last night doing math homework and my brain is fried.

So its all good, I just wish that they would offer that option for the 1SS. I want that option, but I don't care for leather seats. I would love to be able to connect my iPhone into my Camaro when I buy one.

When you look at the features the 1SS is equal to or better than the 1LT on every feature except not being able to add the C&C. If the 1SS was stripped down a bit more, no fog lamps, steel wheels, no spoiler, etc (and thus below $30k) the comparison would work, but as is I just don't see it and I'll be surprised if GM doesn't add the C&C option to the 1SS by at least the next model year.

Hopefully there will at least be some way we can add it from parts from the dealer or something...

Anyone heard anything new on this? Makes absolutely no sense why it's not available on 1SS, it'd just be another way for them to make some more $ off a lot of people perfectly happy to pay it...

Awe c'mon, don't be like that. Just because 88.3 and 102.9 only put out a total of 4 HD Radio channels in Cedar Rapids doesn't mean those of us in larger cities don't care. Houston has 46 FM-based HD Radio channels to choose from.

I could care less about AM radio but I'm not asking GM to save a penny or two by removing it from the stereo in my Camaro....Oh wait, I think I just found another way for GM to save some costs as part of their restructioning plan....
