Well it was just some ideas. I figured everything under the hood should all attract attention.

It's possible I may offer something else as well but I will give it some thought. If I do something it , as with most products I make, will not be the same as someone else offers.

I had a chance to powdercoat a set of flat black this morning. Here are a few pics. I am hoping to do a set of gloss black later today and will post pics when done.

Hi all, for those interested I had a chance to do a test set of gloss black, here are a few pics of those installed. My stock order came in so tomorrow I will start machining to fill all orders and have some in stock, should be ready by the weekend if all goes well. I am also going to try a set of semi-gloss black, it may blend in with the strut towers better where as they are not very glossy. We'll see how that goes and post pics for side by side comparisons. After machining a few more sets I will be doing other colors that I matched the pistolgrip tapshifters with

I had a chance to do a set in semi-gloss black but had to leave before they cooled so I will post pics tomorrow. At first glance I'm not sure there is that much difference between the two. I also started machining more, it's time consuming with the first run as I must machine the fixture as well but I think I will be good by the weeks end as anticipated. I will keep everyone posted as usual.

Here is a quick pic ot the bottom, these covers screw on as do the factory black caps, they do not use set screws or adhesives.

Here is a photo of (from left to right) flat, semi-gloss and gloss black. The diference between the semi-gloss and gloss black is suttle.

Trying to decide which looks the most OEM in the engine bay of a SIM convertible. Definitely between the flat and semi-gloss.

Tough choice. The flat matches some of the components under the hood, not sure about the semi-gloss

I agree...flat matches a lot under the hood and really looks good. Send me a PayPal invoice for the flat! Thanks
