My 2010 Inferno 2SS/RS

I figured it was time to start my journal. I bought my Camaro used from a Ford dealership with 8188 miles on 03/31/11.

Here's a couple of pics loading it on my trailer the day I picked it up.

Dyno day. Only mods were the K&N CAI and a Predator tune that came with the car. Dyno is load bearing and very stingy, so I was impressed with 380 rwhp.

Quick vid showing my sequential tail lights.
http://s28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...t=47662c6b.mp4

Pfadt lowering springs.

Pics with it lowered.

Barton short throw shifter.

Can also change to this anytime.

Full Kooks exhaust. Catback is the Street Sleeper.

HUD install.

Colored all of the stitching from white to orange.

DSS 1400 hp axles.

Heritage grille waiting for me to install. Custom emblem painted IOM by Sparks. Also have the rear SS to go on.

New intake waiting for me to install.

The stitching looks great in person. It looks like it came that way from the factory. We used Elmers paint pens to do it. With my wife helping, it took about two hours. Just color a bit at a time and wipe with a damp cloth to get the paint off the leather. The cloth sections took a bit longer. I found dabbing instead of wiping the cloth section helped. I've noticed some seems to have come off the armrest, but my wife doesn't think so. Either way, it's an easy spot to touch up.

Had Weldcraft widen some stock rear wheels 1.5" for a total width of 10.5".

A little bit of paint to conceal the welds.

Been a little while since I updated.

Heritage grille and lower street scene grille with custom painted ports installed. Unfortunately, I now have some paint peeling on my front bumper.

Inside the lower driver side port, you can see the ADM race scoop. I had to cut on it a bit to fit with the port.

Whipple is installed. I ordered the powder coated black CAI from Juiced. CAI is having some supply issues and I needed my intake in time to get tuned and make it to the LS Fest on the 9th. After waiting over a month, Juiced is letting me borrow a polished CAI until mine arrives. You can also see the Roto-Fab windshield washer relocation reservoir in this pic.

I installed the RX performance catch can.

One hose runs from the driver side valve cover to the catch can from the catch can, the hose runs to to center port seen here:

Vmax throttlebody.

Showstopper led sidemarkers. The camera on my phone doesn't do them justice when let. They're awesome. Much nicer than that other companies.

Widened wheels and tires are on. 10.5" in the rear with 315's and 9" in the front with 275's.

Separated the clutch reservoir from the brake reservoir.

McLeod RXT clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel installed.

Tick Performance speed bleeder. I have it zip tied to the trans coolant lines.

DSS 3.5" aluminum driveshaft.

Metco driveshaft safety loop.

Very impressive work and attention to detail.
If it runs as well as it looks and I suspect it does, you have a hell of a ride.
Nice.

Afterburner tail lights are installed.

And a video showing them working with the sequential turn signal harness.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...S/8c86656e.mp4

Three pics of me at the LS Fest courtesy of hotrod.com. The one showing my time shows smoke coming from my car. The oil cooler was leaking so I had to stop racing. Sucked because I know I could have improved my time. The drag radials just needed to be broken in to get better traction.

And a video of that run.

It's been a bit since I updated. Due to issues with my afterburners, I sent them back and put my stock lights back in. When sjmautoprod releases his, I will try those since I love the look. I also had issues with my DSS driveshaft and my McLeod RXT clutch. I will say that DSS has been excellent to deal with and they have taken care of everything including shipping costs. Top notch company. My axle seals have been leaking as well as I believe my oil pan gasket. Needless to say, my car is currently in pieces right now while I'm chasing down issues. I also took the front bumper off to get repainted to fix a flaw.

I decided to put sjmautoprod's halo kit in.

I also had some custom rotors made by r1concepts.

The back side.

I painted them with high temp black paint so that once used, the dimples and engravings will stay black.

And well, since my car is in pieces right now, I figured why not just take it apart some more? So, I started a cam swap. After looking at a bunch of different cams, I chose a blower cam from TPE.

I decided to swap from the single bolt cam to a 3 bolt cam.

The Crane valve spring tool is expensive, but after using it, I can tell you it's definitely worth the money. It makes the spring swap so easy.

I'm excited to get the car back together and see how well everything works together. I have a lot to do.

I did the initial startup tonight after installing the TPE blower cam. After I made sure it had oil pressure, I got out, shut the door, and walked up front to the engine. When I went back to get in the car, it was locked. I don't know why it did it, but it locked me out of the car with it running during its first startup. Not a good feeling. Luckily the temp stayed fine and no issues. I had the window cracked a bit and was able to stick a broom handle in and hit the unlock button. I'm worried it may do this again. Hopefully it was just a fluke due to the battery being unhooked for a bit. Anyway, here's the initial startup and then one after the engine warmed up a bit. Open headers in the vids. Please excuse the mess in the shop.
