Thanks! Yessir, the doors sure draw attention. Especially, when I'm cleaning it at a car wash. I catch people staring as they drive by. I've also had a few actually stop to talk to me. That would explain why I'm spending more time at the car wash then I intended. haha!!

Took the car over to Lupe's Shop this morning to have the new rear bumper installed. I needed a new bumper because of some damage that was done to it when I backed into a small pole one day. We were going to install the ACS rear extensions as well, but after seeing that the undersides needed to be painted, I decided to take them back to Ancira Chevrolet for re-paint. Here are some pictures from today's effort.

I'll be without my ride for at least this week. Had to drop it off to get some roof damage repaired. I guess Mother Nature decided to target my roof during one of our nasty, cold, icy days here in San Antonio. I was talking with the Enterprise rental guy and he assured me that Sterling does a pretty good job with the repairs. Until then, I'm stuck in a Dodge Avenger. lol

Well....it only took Sterling 3 business days to get the repairs done to the roof and also some minor dings that were on both of my front fenders. They did a great job!!
I am so glad to have my baby back!!!!!!!! Can you see me doin' my dance?!!!

Yesterday was a big deal for me, as it was the first time I've ever used a clay bar (you can laugh if you want). I figured I'd give it a shot, since I'll be putting my car in this year's San Antonio Autorama Show (March 14-16). It took me about 2 hours to do fairly good work on the car.

What an amazing IOM! Looks fantastic! It is amazing what a clay bar can do. I usually do it once a year right before I put my car into storage and what a difference it makes.

I got the correct shift knob from EPCO, so I'm ready to install this mod. Now, I just need to make sure I have the correct tools.

Thanks! But, I'm missing one tool that I need (3mm allen wrench). Do you have yours installed or did you go back to OEM? I have time to do this, since I am off for Spring Break!

My shift boot is installed.
Ive had it on for about 2 years now.
Ive never changed out my shifter.
I just love the look of the OEM shifter.
