It's time US and Canadian prices are valued on an EQUAL playing surface.
A 2SS costing $35,450 US = $35,450 for a 2SS in Canada. EH!
msrp for 2011 2ss fully loaded $48,000

Hi Becky,
So I don't see IBM as a deletion, yet you don't show IBM or any other blue as available on the 2012's?

Any word on IBM or any type of blue for 2012?

Thanks Becky for your help! I'll call my dealer soon to see if I can work something out. What kind of holdback does the dealer get for supplier pricing? Just trying to know where to begin negotiating (again haha). When ordering, I should have made it for invoice..but oh well.

Thanks again!

Just got a 2011 and was happy that it is listed at 312HP now instead of the 304 my 2010 had...and then I see that the 2012 will have a new V6 and 323HP...Looks like no matter when you buy it, something faster comes out. The $1,100 price increase for 11 more HP? Maybe my purchase of the 2011 was not that bad after all.

Getting more an more frustrated with GM Canada daily ... Camaro pricing still isn't out even though the US pricing was released this week.

Dealers have the 2012 Chrysler pricing for the Charger in their computers already (as of 2 days ago), and I'm waiting on the 45th Anniversary Camaro CAN price so I can compare and decide which way I'm going.

I realize it's unlikely anyone can find the 2012 CAN price list, so thanks for reading my vent ... hopefully it's soon this wait is agonizing!

Actually, it depends on what exactly you are ordering. For me, it's about a $825 increase for 11 HP from a lighter engine, new instrument panel design including new steering wheel and instrument cluster graphics, new steering wheel, front passenger, 6-way power seat adjuster standard on LT and SS models, Body Color painted sharkfin (with RS pkg), rear back up camera, darker (RS) tail lamps are standard.

And by they way, your 2010 also had 312 HP....the 304 number was just pulled over from the CTS and the engine in the Camaro was not rated and certified until 2011.

I would love to be able to put the 6-way power passenger seat in my 2011 vert for my wife. Any chance that mod would be doable?

Strange how that works, eh? We build it and sell it to other countries for less than what we pay for it? How does that work, eh? I'm just as confused about that as you are. Years ago the excuse was CDN currency was less than US, and the vehicles were made outside Canada so we had to pay import fees, transportation, duty, taxes, etc.... For once the vehicle is made in our backyard, and our currency is worth .04 cents more than the US counterpart and yet we still pay more. I tell ya' I wish my company could charge some clients 25-40% more for goods simply because I could get away with it.

That being said, we paid about $4000 more last year for the 2LT than in the US, I don't expect that to change ... even though they could DRIVE the car to your place in less time than it takes to process the freight paperwork!

If we do get close to the US pricing then I'll finally be able to make my decision between the Charger and the Camaro though

I agree. There's no way any company would simply give equal "fair" pricing out of the goodness of their executive hearts especially after getting away with it for several years.

Which column would be the "GM Supplier Discount"? I work for Exxon and we get a GM Supplier Discount.

Becky --

Sorry if this was posted/answered before, but the 45th Anniversary Package on a 2SS -- that includes all of the RS package options PLUS the 45th Anniv things (wheels, badges, stitching, etc) right?

Like, by ordering the 45th Anniv package, I am not "missing out" on any of the RS niceties?

Also, I just noticed that the 45th Anniversary edition cannot be combined with the Ground Effects Package? See below:

Quote:
NEW! 45th Anniversary Package, includes (GAR) Carbon Flash Metallic exterior color, (CBM) Brilliant Red/Medium Charcoal Stripe Package, (R41) 20" x 8" front and 20" x 9" rear Deep Silver painted aluminum wheels, (AFP/AFQ) Black front seats with leather seating surfaces and 45th Anniversary embroidered logo and unique stitching on seats, headrests, steering wheel and shifter, (BD8) body-color roof ditch molding, (T4F) high intensity discharge headlamps, unique fog lamps and tail lamps bezel finish, and interior and exterior badging
1 - Not available with any stripe package (B7W, B7X, C3O, C2T, C2U, DSH, DSJ, DSK, DSC, DSD or DSF), (RVD) 19" (48.3 cm) bright aluminum wheels, (R40) 20" (50.8 cm) flangeless, painted aluminum wheels, (WRS) RS Package, (VRV) Quarter flares, LPO, (VTD) Ground Effects Package, LPO or (VYX) Body-color painted engine cover, LPO.

Thanks

They are the same, but a GM Employee gets and
additional rebate. Camaro coupe $1000 and
