Pfadt coilovers + trackday wheels & tires

I recently put the Pfadt stage 4 suspension package on my 2SS, which does include the Pfadt coilovers. I'm considering Toyo Proxes R888 in the 20" size of 285 on the front and 315 in the rear. Does anyone have a Trackday wheel / tire suggestion for this combination that works without scrubbing or interfering with the coilovers?.

I'm considering Forgestar F14 and TSW Nurburgring but I don't have any real knowledge of the fit and finish of these wheels with the tires I'm considering above. I'd like to keep the wheels under $500 each if possible.

I recently ran the car at Road Atlanta for a track day and decided the next mod to the car is going to be a wheel and tire package that works well for these special events. I bought the car to drive and have fun with... it is not my daily driver, but I would like to keep it in a status as though it could be.

The picture below is turn 12 at a Road Atlanta trackday hosted by Chin Motorsports on July 1, 2011.

My best bet would be to PM Nineball. There have been some threads about him creating a track setup for some members. If my memory is correct, I believe he used Forgestars because they are so lightweight and inexpensive.

just went through the same issue where the tire rubs on the spring perch up front. I'm running Forgeline 20x10's on all four corners 775/40's F and 295/35 R FYI. Read below if you are wanting to run a wider tire/wheel combo in the front with the pfadt coilovers....

Thanks for the info. This is definitely some of the info that I'm trying to look for. I was drooling over the Toyo R888 which is 285 and 315.

So, I just got off the phone with forgestar and talking about F14's for my SS. To start out with I got the dimension information that most of you might know. Front = 20x9 with a +35 offset. Rear = 20x11 with a +48 offset.

My question... What should the offsets actually be with my Pfadt coilovers in the front and rear? I'd like to avoid using any kind of spacers. Currently I'm under the impression that the fronts are the only ones that might need to be changed, but this might not be correct either. Thanks for the help everyone!!

I have a set of factory 20x9's with 35mm offset, withToyo's 285's, I also changed out my coilovers to Pfadt and camber plates, they didn't work they rubbed the spring's.
I also have a set of 19x9's with 20mm offset they clear the springs, but the rears are 19x9 with 25mm offset and the stick past the fender well's 1/2in...looks like sh*t..
Now I have a set of Forgeline coming soon front's 20x9 with 28mm offset...
Good luck with your rims

I hate to see so many people having this drama with wheels and tires. I appreciate the heads up and I would like to know when you get your new wheels and tires and how they fit. Thanks for the post!
