Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Hello C5 Family,

I was going to my next job and found this. It might just be a love hate relationship, idk. But I couldn't stop thinking of all the other examples of our beloved Camaro in it's "otherside" form Anyways how about we have a place where we can place all these, will you know, "Artistic Expressions" of our Camaro.. Have fun...

If it's being used for its intended purposes, which it does look like it is, what's the problem?

You generally always see a Vette, Camaro or Mustang on a Blazer or Bronco frame at the mud races. Anything lighter than a truck cab will do, or they just might have had the Camaro and Blazer sitting in the front yard and got an idea. Although that one does not appear to be 4WD so I'm not sure what the point is.

What else are you going to do with a 1982 roached 4 cyl Camaro? Restore it?

I bet the owner had a 4WD with a rusted out body and an 82 Camaro with a bad drive train. I've seen guys do this exact same thing to far better cars when having a good body on a car and a good drive train on a 4WD.

Nice touch with the Camaro decal on the windshield and the two tone paint! Needs front mud guards. Probably has a step stool somewhere. I like it!

I knew a guy that did this (a similar one)... he said it was a really fun idea in concept, but once he built it, he hated it: He said that with the way the seats are, you just can't see over that airport- runway- long hood. In a truck or SUV, the hoods are shorter, more sloped, and the seats ride higher in relation to hood horizon... with a lifted Camaro, you can't see any road for about 50 feet ahead of you.
