60' times and ET's at high altitude.
I live in CO and have not been able to break 2.3 for my 60' or 14 sec for my ET. My best to date is a 14.098 @ 103.1 with a 2.337 60' time. I was wondering if other people here have been getting similar results or do I just suck at driving this car?

First of all Welcome to C5...
......second, that 60' is not good at any altitude... Manual transmission??? Stock Tires??? takes a little practice, but you should get at least a 2.0 |

That is what I've been told which is why I was wondering about my 60' time. I was hoping to see what other people have been getting up here. My ET seems about right on for this altitude but I was hoping for some advice on my 60'. My car is completely stock with stock tires.... for now. |

I think 2.0 on stock tires is doing good up here, keep working on it. You will get it

I'll keep working it. If anyone has any tips, such as what RPM's and launch settings they are using please let me know. I've tried about everything I can think to do.

a 2.0 is possible on those stock tires, but from what ive seen a 2.1 is good... it has been done before on a stock car. what psi do you have your tires set at??? we found that 21-22psi to be very good. i would say start at 24-25 and lower it until you reach your desired pressure. cant remember launch RPM, it will vary with tire pressure. also make sure you slip the clutch, that will help lower your 60ft times and min tire spin. hope this helps.
your ET is nice any idea on the DA for that run?? i think a 13.9 even 13.8 is possible stock on stock tires with a nice low DA! Edit: also do a quick burnout. you will have 100s of people saying you dont need to on street tires, but it does help! and avoid the water box!
