Who used the flat tire kit that come with the car?

my car came with one of those flat tire kit instead of a spare tire and I am a little worried as to if the flat tire kit actually work?

So how did it work out for you so far?

I havent used this particular one but I have used a similar one before. It works for small punctures from things like nails and screws. It does not work for large holes, tears or blow outs.

Yeah, its just a can of fix-a-flat and a small compressor (inflator). Since you have a V6, you should just buy a spare (& jack, lug wrench, etc). The inflator is quite small (after you discard the large foam holder, so you can just carry it in the trunk for times when you have a small puncture or slow leak. Anything else, just pop on the spare...

I used it last fall to seal up a slit in the side wall long enough for me to drive it to Discount tire and find out what they had to say about the damage and replacing the tire. The stuff worked fine and so did the pump. I replace the bottle with one from Autozone for tire repair, just in case of another emergency.
