I trimmed mine for a second wallpaper but I lost some quality. If there were a large shot, I'd to stupid-happy.

Many people have said photos dont do this car justice and I must say I agree 100%. This is the first time I have seen the car in person and think it is even better than I thought.

They changed them from the initial production pieces not that long ago, but I'm affraid you're correct. Fortunately, it's easy enough to rectify

There are many options for us to consider, but at least we know that 14-bolt will take a lot more abuse than the one that's in SS now. Still, if we can't control that rear, that's just more potential with more traction and power to break something...

Yup. Strongest link in that car needs to be the rear end first then the tranny....

I keep forgetting that's about the first major mod' I want to do. Once I get the bushings replaced (front to back), I'll feel a lot more better about some spirited driving.

I've read about the rear bushing replacement in GM hi tech. It looks like the stock bushings are a bear to get out! (cutting, drilling and a hammer) I wounder if a press would work? I have one sitting in my shop collecting dust, it might make for a little project while I wait for the snow to melt

I'm following that series like stink on sh1t. I like how they're really starting with the foundation of that car, and building up. Many of those mods' are exactly what I'm thinking and I'm glad they're showing us how to do them with mostly common garage tools. I'm not sure how many others have popped those out, aside from the tools, but it's giving me a great idea what this work is going to take. If you can get the cradle on the bench and up to the press I'm sure it'l work, but that's a big mamba-jamba. If you don't extract the 14-bolt, it's only going to be even more difficult.
