In the first chevy video...
at the strip...I noticed "active Handling" is always off. What does active handling do?

It keeps you looking like you're proficient at driving and keeping in between the ditches, LOL!!! It calculates yaw and all that stuff, modulating brakes, spark timing, throttle, and all that jazz to keep the car from skidding out of control.

"Active Handling which has a stability control feature that uses on-board sensors to measure the vehicle's lateral acceleration, yaw rate, and steering wheel position. These sensors work in conjunction with the vehicle's Anti-lock braking system and traction control system which automatically assist a vehicle's driver in understeering and oversteering situations"

Thanks to Adjunct Mac for his insight on the question at hand, any further questions? Class dismissed....

Camaro ZL1 Photos / Videos Mega Compilation Thread

Featured on Camaro5 HOMEPAGE.

A unique one-off 2012 Camaro ZL1 was auctioned off tonight at the Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction in Las Vegas, NV. This particular model will be the only 2012 Camaro ZL1 in Carbon Flash Metallic. It will also feature a VIN that honors the original ZL1’s – a VIN ending in 00069. Only 69 of those first ZL1’s were produced in the 1969 model year. All proceeds from the auction’s sale will benefit the YMCA of Southern Nevada.

The winner was Rick Hendrick with a bid of $250,000!

Sorry for the quality. I don't have a DVR. So this is the best I could do.

THAT is the grille this car needs....remember the Leno car, and how gorgeous that looked.

It looks like it was modified slightly to match the lower grille. Awesome!

Because for all we know every zl1 we have seen up to this point has been a prototype or concept. The "real deal" has not made it to production yet.
We could even see even more changes.

I like the grill. This car is really starting to distinguish itself from its SS brothers and sisters making it that much harder for posers to copy the "look." I think they need to keep making changes so that posers have a harder time in making theyre own version of ZL1 from they're SS or LT.
I think if you are going to try and go the hard route and try to make your car a zl1 "clone" that many I am sure will do, I think you should have to pay big $$$ to do that when you could just save yourself the hassle and buy a ZL1 to start.
If you want the look and can't afford the look, then keep your car as it is
so that you wont be labeled a "poser" by others.
To all you would be posers.. I am really on your side...
See? I want you to HAVE the real deal.... ... A REAL ZL1 and not a clone.
