We went with ARH long tubes to the axle with racing converters and X pipe, then put on the Magnaflow axle back street series. Sounds pretty nice but did not match up very well. Had Henry at Hanksville Hotrods tie the 2 together

Anyone going next Wed for CSP take it to the track test and tune? What time does the fun begin next Wed? I would have to leave work early to get up there in time. I'm sure tech will take a while too??? :(

If you get there around 3 mav, when the gates open you can haul ass through tech and start your runs. It doesnt take long then. If you get there between 4 and 6 tech might take forever to get through :-P

Where can I go to get a 4 wheel alignment? Getting ready to put on my DSE drop springs and sway bars and all the local shops (Thornton area) say they cannot get a dropped Camaro on thier alignment racks.

I think Don was around 13.7 with ARH long tubes, CAI, and tune (8342' DA adjusted to 12.36 @116.8) He's currently at #7 on "Unofficial Fast List".

My best was 14.207 @101.87 bone stock, no CAI, no DR tires (7200' DA adjusted to 12.92 @111.708). I was at #7 on "Unofficial Fast List" (adjusted DA), now bumped down to #10.

Here's the best place to compare times after correcting for DA. Gives you a good idea what's possible when all is perfected on launch and perfect track conditions exist.

Charger and Mustang were both V6 automatics. We tried and tried to spin the tires...... not gonna happen! Kids loved the convertable feature though. I saw one red V6 Camaro for rent - just after jumping through hoops to get the Mustang.

Go with the ARH's and high flows. I think Brian can get them for you.

The only thing happening for sure in Denver is RAIN. Don't think there will be many gatherings on Saturday with the forecast. Sunday looks good though.

I hope you plan on getting some stickies, I found out that my 60' times were .5 seconds worse with the Vortech than stock on the PZeros. Leave the Stabilitrac On and just turn off the T/C. Stabilitrac only works when you get out of shape sideways, and can keep you out of the wall.

Take it to a good Chevy dealer that works on alot of Corvettes, like Purifoy.

He can't but once, after he runs faster than 11.5 twice, they will kick him off the track.

Upcoming Car Shows

Here's a couple of car shows I'm planning on attending if anyone else is interested in doing also.

Purifoy 50th Anniversary Celebration & Car Show is Saturday 7-10-10 from 2-8 PM in Fort Lupton. If you would like to attend, the website has info and entry forms: www.purifoy50th.com

The 40th Annual Rod Festival will be held on Sat July 24th and Sun 25th at Longmont's Roosevelt Park. (old location was Boulder County Fairgrounds) There is a new venue for the show and shine along with some really cool additions. http://www.colorodans.org/home.html

I know Dillon at Harchelroad Motors in Nebraska does one each year - I'll have to check out further.

Any other shows that might be of interest?
