I'm the military one! The stripes had to go back, they went to put them on and they were creased, so Hajeck ordered a new set, hopefully get here soon.

Thanks for bringing them back, sorry you had to make the trip.

You get your painted on yet?

Hey gang, I got the pictures all 515 of them. They are working on the other computer as I write this. Going thru batch editing right now. I will put them to some music and make a movie out of them and then put it on you tube for your instant viewing pleasure. I will also make a dvd for each of you for a keepsake or to show friends. The dvd will have the base files and the movie as well.

Upcoming event at High Plains Raceway
Aug 1 and 2nd
see the Calendar section for details and sign up. Sat Aug 1 is free for all cars and families. Aug 2nd is race day with hot laps with our host Peak Eurosports. 165.00 per car. Way cheaper than a ticket for going 120 MPH and you can learn your cars limits and get professional driving tips.

No problem returning them. Seriouly though I told Steve I was going to sell mine on E-bay. I had no idea that those 2 boxes weren't mine. I never opened them. Strange they would be creased. The box showed no signs of anything that damaged them. oh well

Meh it happens, how do you like the glossy's? Post up some pics!

Ok..time for my sob story and some advice for you all..I've had my awesome car for 7 days now and washed it last night to prep for a clearbra install and tinting today. Drove to work in Boulder with no issues this morning. Around 9am, I left to drive just 4 Miles to the bra/tint shop and arrived with two paint chips on the hood where the bra was going to be installed!! The paint is very thin and the chips are down to the metal :( Worse yet, not a single dealer in the metro area has touch up paint in stock for the orange Camaro yet and most of them can't find the order code because it's too new.

Bottom line..I'd recommend the clearbra as soon as you can get it on the car!!

No, that's the worst part. No problems driving from Denver to Boulder on 36 every day this week. It happened driving the four miles from my office in Boulder to the clearbra shop in Boulder. I had them put the bra on over the chips and will have it removed, touched up and reapplied when the paint comes in. Rob

Another funny thing I forgot to mention..When I called the dealers parts sections for the touch-up paint, they asked me what color I needed and after looking in the computer, they said the 2010 Camaro isn't made in the IOM color. They read all of the other colors to me as well as Synergy green (which isn't made yet), but no IOM. She seemed really confused when I told her mine was IOM and came that way from the factory!!

Volley - I take it their doing the film and not the spray on is that correct? Are they doing your whole front end? We took ours to a place and they only wanted to do 12 inches up the hood. Which I thought was odd because it seems like the rest of the front end would get hammered. Already have a small nick :(

I had them do the film 18 inches on the hood and fenders, as well as the back of the mirrors. The standard packages at most places is 12 inches as you mentioned. The chips I got before putting it on are about 4 inches from the end of the hood. They offered to do the whole hood and front fenders for $1,000 which they said is normally $1,400, but I chose to go with just the 18 inches. The front fascia and bumper would b another $500.

Is your nick on the hood? I didn't get the fascia/bumper done since it's plastic and will likely take it better than the metal parts.

Man, the 300 mile rally road trip the bunch went on only resulted in a TINY chip on my mirror and a couple of door dings from each other-4 miles? so sad

Laramie GM can custom mix the touch up bottles. Tom & I already used it and it is perfect.
Some of your Colorado dealers need to get a clue. Let me know who all wants some IOM or ?? and I can get them started. Or "Streetracer" if you cant reach me.

You guys have it all going on up there. Is that only for IOM or can I get some dark blue.....lol just kidding I can get my color cause it is the same code as Impala.

Are there any more members that want to come out to Highplains Raceway east of Denver on August 1 for a car show and August 2nd for Hot laps all day with the Peak Eurosports club. We have six confirmed thus far and have room for another 4 for race day. and 9 for the car show. Give me a PM and I will get you the info..

The nick is by one of the headlights on the curve. Annoying more than anything.
I hate when I start noticing these type of things.

I'm only going with 12" on the hood. I used bug splatter to gauge where the hood catches debris. I also used a ribbon (don't laugh guys) marked off in 6" increments to see how far up I wanted to go. It looked like the 12" would work great on the hood. I put 6" on the roof because that's the next bug catching spot!

The two that had 18" done on your hoods, please post pix. Most of the car has been done but I'm having the stripes painted on so have to wait 30 days for the paint to cure.

Cars available?

Changing the subject.
Check this out if your still waiting on a car. They say several available. won't clutter up area 51 or warehouse 13, but who knows? AZ is a big market

Yeah, i'd say judging from the pictures it's an early 80's, possibly Berlinetta... Very sad though.
