New to the Springs

Just moved to Colorado Springs (Army) in June 2013. I have a 2012 Jeep Rubicon but wanted something to spread the milage around on that was fun to drive. I bought a used 2012 SS/RS in July 2013. Looking to upgrade to a ZL1 or Corvette in a year or two. Just a muffler delete, weathertech mats, and window tint for now.

Greetings, just bought my first Camaro can't wait until spring so I can put my P-Zero's back on. Have wanted a Camaro ever since I was old enough to know better and now that I am almost 50 it finally worked out.

No racing for me.

I wanna thank the driver of the IOM Camaro that was trying to race the SIM Camaro on HWY 50. For the first time since I bought it I wish I had gone with the SS instead of the 2LT. Oh well, no harm no foul. Nice car by the way . If I had been in my WS6, it would have ended differently.

You just need a Supercharger on that 2LT!

Merry Christmas to all the Camaro Club of the Rockies members! Special thanks to Allen Zearing for all the work getting and keeping the "50 and going fast" discussion group up and running on the FB Camaro Club of the Rockies page! Pepper for all the Bandimere updates/events and support, and for the support of our other moderators Susan Dyroff, Nicole Stopp, Robert Johnson, and Loralee Alemanni. They all have worked really hard at keeping this amazing club running. If memory serves correctly, I believe Kirk DeJac and Pepper Mcc are the 2 of the original ____ (# that started the club..... maybe Kirk or Pepper will chime in).

We've had an amazing 2013 and I look forward to another one in 2014!

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!

...... and to think this all started with a Camaro and the "Camaro5 addiction" LOL

First, the Camaro handles like a beast in this weather. I am shocked as to how well it handles in the snow even w/o any junk in the trunk.
Second, I hate this weather. I just suffered my first cold weather related windshield crack. Never had a car do that before. Warmed up the car, waited until it got to optimal operating temperatures, hit the windshield wiper to brush off the melted ice and snow and heard a thunderous crack (and it sounded horrifying). Looked at the crack in my windshield that goes from the passenger side almost all the way to the drivers side. I am so irritated right now.

Done ranting, thanks for viewing.

I had to laugh seeing this...

Just bought a 2011SS, and also drive a 2013 Rubicon Unlimited. Took a vacation out to Moab last summer and had a blast.

Anyways, new Camaro owner here, wanted one since I was a kid and finally had my chance.
