Supposedly my wheels ( according to the e-mail from Savini through BFXAUTO since today is Aug 12) have been shipped back to me but oddly I have not received a tracking number. Go Figure.

You're going to need a set of waders soon to get through all the BS they're throwing at you

I really hope they're right. I'll loan you my 20"s if it goes on too long. I still have 2 sets of 18"s in the garage!

Oh, I did get your email the other day. I'm not on that one too often. Looked like a generic response to an articulated question. Just sad.

Yeah, I know what you are saying. I think they play the wear down game and just try to wear you down, but that is not for me I will keep after them till they eirther make it right or give me my money back.

Oh this is their last chance to make this right, then we will start the process of getting my money back.

Well at least my car is REALLY CLEAN now. I don't think I can polish it anymore, LOL

Somehow this is just so wrong.

My wheels are just fine now and I can't get anybody to even hardly look at them and I'm only asking half what I paid.

I'm such a moron for having bought them in the first place. But then, hind sight is always 20-20.

I've definitley used mine more but at what cost?

Suspension problems galore. ALL unexplained.

Were they all the wheels? Who knows? But never had a problem before the wheels.

I know that telling the truth about Savnini won't help us sell them but it must be done.

That was Chevrolet's game plan when I was having brake problems with Eleanor (old 2010 camaro), but I just kept bugging them and kept calling, eventually they said screw it. Then they bought me a new car *not to thread jack, just wanted to give an example that the "wear 'em down" strategy is common and you have to stick up for yourself and not buy their BS*

I think I've figured out what the problem here is. These wheels are designed and built by Tom Savini.

I know in my house this is a VERY sore subject. Wheel conversations are off limits right now.

Wrong is an understatement, this is criminal. I think we all feel like idiots Em so you are in good company. Luckily yours are fine now, but I in good concious could not sell them to someone knowing they vibrate. If they come back and vibrate I will demand a refund, not that it will do any good but I will make noise till they do.

True, True, True...... I look at it more in a way of seeing someone driving drunk and just saving other people a bunch of heartache.

Well if you play P**** then you get F*****! Unfortunately trying to be a nice guy does not work in todays society. Not many businesses have integrity and they only understand pressure.

Your ad said "High-quality 3-piece forged wheels".

Isn't that false advertising?

My wheels were fine once they were refinished with powdercoat. I was making the distinction between 3-piece forged wheels vs. cast wheels. I would never misrepresent an item I am selling. Please don't insinuate otherwise.

Sorry about that. But, I almost feel guilty for selling them after all the issues others are having.

That is the whole reason that if my wheels are not 100% right then I want a refund. Just do not want to send my problems to someone else. Luckily in your case the problems were fixed and it was a finish problem not a vibration problem but I know what you are talking about.

Maybe they were Zinik first and then went to Savini. I am unsure.

Funny little story I was watching a program about Unique who is based in Miami who does high end cars for mainly professional athletes, celebrities etc......they were doing a Range Rover for CC Sabathia ( Yankees Pitcher) and a Ferrari and they were putting Savini wheels on the Range Rover. Well first off the wheels came painted the WRONG color......imagine that. But it happens.

I really wonder if CC Sabathia has any issues with the paint falling off or the wheel vibrating.....hmmmmmmm.
