CASE CLOSED. CLOSE THREAD.
Thanks for the insight, now I see the light. Who needs proof, why this is the internet. Once it has been written it must be true. I guess when the Camaro went away in 2002 forever no one should have sat there on forums like this to try and bring it back.

Look I can understand if you don't care to see a 5th gen Z28, but why do you need to come in here and pour haterade on us who would like to see it.

The C5 Forum as many sub Forums and many threads as I can see you have participated in by your number of posts. So if you feel this thread should be closed I am perfectly sure you can find another place to troll and just let us be.

What is it about Z/28 threads that causes so many individuals to come here and post their naysaying, trolling comments? Don't they have enough forums and threads elsewhere on this site to keep them occupied? Or do they just want to display their superior intellect and reasoning? Curious minds would like to know why.

Please prove to us any year of Camaro where the Z28 was significantly lighter than the other Camaros.

Someone mentioned turrets? This turret should pretty much handle the job...

NICE !

When I was scrolling through, I went past your name on that one, OldScool.

It didn't matter. I knew who wrote it as soon as I started reading.

I could not agree more with this statement...at least in my own experience. When I was in HS, the Z28 was the "it" car with all of us guys. I wanted one so badly, but alas it was not to be. It gave me the bug to want a pony/muscle car though. When I was finally in a spot where I could buy one for myself, the Camaro name was retired and I had to buy a Mustang GT. Thankfully, I am now in a Camaro SS and loving every second of my drive time. If Chevy comes out with a Z28, I would definitely want one. It's not only in my subconscious, but in my blood.

Leno made the comment in his review of his own LLT with the bi-turbo that it should go into production maybe as a z28.

Gen 4 had the z28 slotted in the middle (v6 - z - ss) so why not?

I agree with you there Lowdown.....and to the OP two turbo's on one engine is known as a twin turbo, not bi, but a twin turbo 8 cylinder might be interesting at some point, but not with the Z/28. Like mismatching clothes, they would clash. Just my perspective.

Except if you're Italian, they call their twin turbo cars bi-turbo's

For you to take what I said so seriously means your tampon needs to be replaced.

Haterade? What are we in middle school? I have more important things in my life at the moment then to whip up a batch of "haterade".

I want a Z/28 to be released just as bad as the next person. Its called patience it will happen, later rather then sooner. Let the ZL-1 have its glory atleast being released a full year...

Turbo, twin or bi turbo, supercharger, meh, who needs them. I would prefer my Z/28 to sound more like this and be a high rev terror. And I think you could get close with an NA LS7.

I may have once "had my way" with Italian twin sisters...in "series" AND "parallel"...

...so THEY were bi...but I assure you I'm NOT a bi-guy...

"Not that there's anything wrong with that..."
