Had to fix to many of them for members and friends, Buy the way the best way to seal them is with RTV Clear Silicone, do it 2 times to get the best seal.

I'm having the same issues with the water and burned out bulbs. I'm on my second pair. Jonathan has been good at getting me new ones out.

On the second one you can see brown stuff inside of it, and condensation on the right side. I did what you did PQ and put some sealant around the connector housing and this is the only one that has an issue.

I said it once, I'll say it again.... This is alot of money to spend on a product with a defect, lifetime warranty or not.

I agree with you. Believe me I do.

That just shows you how much I REALLY like this product.

It's a real easy fix to run a bead of sylicon around it.

But, there's no doubt. You should be able to install and enjoy.

I just look at it, now, as part of the install.

OR....You could buy the Showstoppers version which have had ZERO issues AND don't require you to SEAL the product YOURSELF.

..AND Showstoppers is running a group buy right now which saves you $50. I cannot for the life of me figure out why anybody would order AAC when there is another option that works better and is cheaper

Probably because they didn't know there was a problem.

Plus, AAC had a group buy that I got in on.

179.00 and no shipping.

$179 painted? Wow that is a good deal. And yes, I was only referring to people from this point on. You early-adopters kind of got screwed, which isn't your fault.

I have had my AAC side markers in for about 10 months with no problems. I did modify them so they used the OEM covers on them, and I resealed them to make sure I had no problems with water afterwards.

Crap. The lights I sealed have held up in the rain so I think I"m good there. BUT, I got to Jacksonville visiting GTAHVIT and for Bonnies show and pulled up, went around the car and saw my light sticking out. Took a pic and it's broken. This is the only light that I didn't have to seal.

Any ideas on how to fix this???
