5 y/o wants to take a ride in the Camaro!!
On Saturday I was out wiping down the car, our neighbors (friends) come over with their son as they usually do. Their son loves the car, always has to come over to see it. This time he noticed the Autobot center caps I put on a few days earlier (apparently he loves the Transformers). Not even sure how he seen them as it was pretty dark, but he was even more memorized by the car, just so excited!
Anyway, I just received a text from his dad “asking for a small favor”? The favor, to take him and their son for a ride. Apparently their son had written a note on the fridge (Saturday night) to tell them to call or text me to ask for a ride and has been bugging them ever since. I was so excited by this, of course I sad yes. Unfortunately I was not able to do it tonight, but we are going tomorrow for a cruise. This is one of those times the car makes me feel so young and makes me so excited. Here is a pic from our cruise:

I have a 5 year old and an 8 year old that really really want to go for a ride too, they loved the test drive and are anxiously awaiting the new arrival (I am too -- who am I kidding)

Just give the neighbor the keys. Let him and his little dude go out. That'd be awesome for them. Just a thought. Either way it'll be great, but just saying that it might be cool to let them go by themselves.

I have a Rule for my 2010 Camaro. No One Under 21 Is Allowed In The Car. By the way this is because of what happened with one of the other Camaro's that I own. The first weekend that I had it, one of my son's scratched the paint on the right rear panel and then got sick all over the back of the front passenger seat. There when the New Car Smell, replaced by the vomit smell and it took forever to get rid of that smell.

My 5 year old daughter hates my car. It is too loud and too fast.......according to her. And with the top down there is too much wind. My 5 year old son wants it louder, faster and the wind doesn't bother him.......go figure!

a few years back, we were on our way down to reno, my brother in law had his 70 chevelle vert that he was driving.
Well we stopped for lunch & when we came out, we had this father & son just drooling over my brother in laws car, we laughed, but my brother in law got down on his knee & asked the kid if he wanted a ride in the car. The kid was like YESSSSSSSSSSS (didnt say it but nodding his head) John asked the little boys parents if it was ok to take him for a ride around the parking lot. of course they said yes. we took pictures & shipped them to them after we got back from reno lol
