Has anyone tried the Prothane front control arm inserts or rear subframe inserts?

The prices sure are reasonable.

Going into JDP next week with my 2010 to get a FE4 rear suspension upgrade and having all my bushings changed to these. I will update this thread after some break in...

We use them quite a bit in local installs. Not so much the subframe inserts, but the full bushings. The inserts work well for a mild upgrade or V6 with not a lot of power, but I strongly recommend going for the full bushings. Here is a pic of some Prothane subframe bushings we recently installed along with some RideTech coilovers:

Tyler,

Since the sub-frame is out of the car, why not replace the upper control arm bushing as well?

The Prothane bushing is about $100, correct?

Brett,

Yes, while the cradle is down, that is the best time to address the upper control arm bushings. We offer some pre-pressed in new GM brackets for easy installation.

Part # JDPS1001

The pricing for the Prothane bushings are posted above, but if you are doing multiple items, we can work out some sort of package deal.

Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

Best regards,

Tyler
