should i use L/T header settings or not

hy everyone,
i have just bought a SCT SF3 tuner and i have a question for you guys my engine is stock exept for shorty headers and on my tuner i have an option for L/T headers,
what would happen if i flash in that option with short tubes can it hurt the motor ? or get less power than the stock setting?
did anyone ever try this.

I am not to familiar with flash tuning so i want to be sure that this is a safe thing to try.
thanks

I would not use the LT tune. Their is a big difference between shorties and LT's.

thanks Bill
do you think it would damage the motor or just give less power?
what does the LT tune do give more timing? does it lean out the motor ?

It wont damage your car but you might not see the full potential. If anything, the tune for LT will be more aggressive than a shorty. Think of it is 1/2 tune for now. Try it and see if you feel any difference.

It could lean out your motor. I would not try it unless you can do some logging to see if it is lean.
