should i use L/T header settings or not
hy everyone,
i have just bought a SCT SF3 tuner and i have a question for you guys my engine is stock exept for shorty headers and on my tuner i have an option for L/T headers, what would happen if i flash in that option with short tubes can it hurt the motor ? or get less power than the stock setting? did anyone ever try this. I am not to familiar with flash tuning so i want to be sure that this is a safe thing to try. ![]() thanks |

I would not use the LT tune. Their is a big difference between shorties and LT's.

It wont damage your car but you might not see the full potential. If anything, the tune for LT will be more aggressive than a shorty. Think of it is 1/2 tune for now. Try it and see if you feel any difference.
