Lingenfelter V6 Supercharger Update

I couldn't find a definite answer if this kit was being made after watching their video on youtube. So I emailed Lingenfelter and here is a screen shot of the email I got back.

Edit:
Here is the link for video:

Back in fall '09 Tim@lingenfelter posted this:

And this is the thread with 1039 posts. Guess it's never going to go to market.

I think with 2012's delphi ecm equipped v6's now making delivery im sure we will see a supercharger/turbo from bigger companies like lingerfelter/hennessey and such but it will be for 2012 and not for pre 12 I can almost guarantee. Even vince at trifecta has started selling tunes for the 2012 v6 already.

Why did you add headers, CAI, TB, & tune to your V8?

I had email them back in Jan. about this kit and all they told me is stay tuned! Eight months later nothing still. And this was started in 2009! Don't think it's going to happen!

It seems logical to me that the performance companies would want to develop stuff for the LLT with its direct injection since the V8s will be getting direct injection before long. A company that develops products now for the LLT will be several steps ahead when the V8 DI arrives. And you know the V8 crowd will be wanting superchargers & turbochargers right out of the gate.

It's not the ECM that's the issue... it's the fueling issue... The high pressure pump simply can't deliver enough fuel to support the higher boost levels... So swapping out the ECM isn't going to change that... My guess is lingerfelter (and others) simply wouldn't be happy with a low boost kit...

They are saying it will swap. I got a feeling this will be a popular mod.

Well I always love it when people say --- buy the v8 - I think the goal here is for GM to push out a v6 turbo. Not everyone wants 412hp and 12mpg. Gretchen got growl has twin turbos and 29 mpg on the highway. That is the ticket.

+1 and you can get 412 RWH easily when they get the fuel issue ironed out. I think they are close now with small boost.

All the turbos seem to keeping or even increasing their fuel effiency when they get over the initial excitement of having the extra power. It is a win-win if you aren't worried about the warranty. Now, if GM will give us one from the factory we can have it all.
