How accurate is the correction calculator?
So I ran my car in 3000ft... 87 degree's, only headers and ran 13.07 and I was kinda pissed! Track prep SUCKED too. The correction calculator shows 12.60 and if I use the weather in Oct we had last year it show's a 12.43 run
Is this thing pretty accurate... I cant wait to run my car this fall! With the cold air I built I pick up my MPH to 112.2 also from 111! This was at almost 3000ft also.

Correction factor is pretty accurate, but its not perfect.
From what I've seen you'll run about .1 faster for every 10 degree drop in temperature (rough average for naturally aspirated cars). 13.0s with temps in the 80s would equate to 12.60s or so running with temps in the 40s. But as the temp get low, traction becomes an issue. So nothing is a gaurantee. But cold air and a well prepped track = very fast times.

Cool, that means on a better track in the 60s I will run pretty solid times! The track was dead and they did not prep it all' it made launching next to imposible!
