It's very easy. I did it to my 1SS. As soon as the harness is plugged in
they light right up. Complete plug and play.

Check out this thread. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=gauge+cluster

but once you figure out how to take it apart, a screwdriver and some patience will get it done without damaging anything

yea, I've taken mine apart a few times and the first time must have taken 45 minutes, but after that it wasn't too bad.

Yep, the instructions that came with the gauges were decent if I recall. You just have to pop out some trim, connect some wires and then snap everything back in place. You'll like the gauges; I think they really add a lot to the looks of the interior.

I'd be more tempted to pop for them if two of the four weren't already readouts you can pull up on the DIC (water temp and battery voltage, IIRC).

You wont have any problem with it. I think it only took about 20 minutes with the directions that came with it. Very plug and play as mentioned before.

I installed my gage cluster and its not working. Besides just connecting the harness to the cluster do you have to do anything else?

Yes the other end of the new harness needs to be connected to the right place, on your 2012 it goes next to the hand brake, there is a connecter there, this is the way for all 2010-12 camaros withe out factory 4 packs

In 2013 GM moved the point where you can plug in the connecter, we found where to do this and sale the harness for the 2013 cars.

hate to bring up and old thread, but nothing I found talks about securing the gage cluster to the new console cover...The two fight independent of each other when fitting it all back in...I did not see any screws on the Phastek package I got. With all of my interior LED wiring it is a definite fight, unless I am missing something

No, it's pretty easy with just a small flat head screwdriver.
