I'm from Dubai, UAE and have a 2010 SS and now am planning to install a supercharger.
I'll be honest...I'm some what of an amature when it comes to what mods to do but point being right now I have vararam CAI, kooks LT headers and corsa catback with a custom tune. On a Mustang Dyno i'm puttin down
391 RWHP. And what may sound even funnier to some while others would hopefully understand is that I am about to get married in a years time after which life is gonna SLLOOOOWWWW down. Our culture in some cases can get a lil restrictive. I need to live life b4 I walk down that path which is why I need to fulfil the one dream before I ride the marriage band wagon. My dream is to hit 600+ RWHP. What can you guys suggest?

I would talk with Vengence (sponsor on this site) about getting their cam package and then put a whipple on it.....then upgrade the drive train to handle the power.

Well here's the issue right...here in the UAE, everyone says don't do cams cuz that will affect the life span of your engine. Yet everybody is doin it, but the difference between myself and them is that they can afford a new engine while I actually hope to hand over the car to my kids or possibly grand kids one day with the facory engine in it... ;-)

And besides that, if a cop ever pulls me over and hears the sound comin from below my hood, before I can even finish saying "good morning officir", my car would be on a tow truck on its way to the impound. Still I am somewhat willing to take the risk... :-)

However, the question still stands, is this rumour true? About the life span of the engine being shortened? I'm sure one would ask about my driving style...well...I do have my agressive drives but not all the time. I drive more in a chilled out manner than I do agressive.

@ Anwro....bro...u live in Kuwait, u know how most khaleeji women are....they'd rather be shot dead than be seen in anything less than a BMW, Merc, Audi, Lexus, Bentley and of course, how could I forget our favourite...the Porsche. If i didn't have the marriage issue, I'd take it slow...easy...do a block swap...a 427 would sound beautiful...n then the rest would add up as time goes by! :-D

If your looking for lifetime riding while making the best out of the engine ,In that case you can easily slim your car on a diet , lighten wheels body interior brakes ..etc , and give it a full bolt ons without cracking your engine like Headrs x-pipe- exhaust - CAI - tune - pulleys , means stock No cams - No superchargers.
you'll get quality ride with maximum engine life.
