Hey all! As you may or may not know, I finally took the plunge and bought my first new car-- the car I've always wanted, a new Camaro!-- about a month ago. Since finding this forum I've been coming up with all sorts of things to modify on her, so I figured I'd throw pictures up so everyone could see how she has been coming along.

I'll start out with the photos of her at the dealer and the first day I bought her so you can see the progress:

So the first thing I did was 20% window tint and a 5% brow stripe on the windshield. I'm not a huge fan of after-market tint, but she needed it! After tinting the windows, I ordered some RS badges and threw them on the fenders, then tinted the side markers with some 5% window tint so they wouldn't stand out so much against the paint.

This last pic is with everything done I have mentioned so far-- at a car show where I placed in the top 125 out of 500 + a couple weekends ago

Looking good. I went with the exact same window tint set up as you and I love it.

Next, I ordered a body-color (IBM) heritage grille for her and some of the fender lettering, which I put on the engine cover and on the dash. I also picked up some ridiculously expensive but very pretty door sill protectors. See below. This is as far as I've gotten... stay tuned for more as I can afford it! LOL

That's all for now. I'm coming up with more stuff I want to do every day. Pressing, I want the illuminated bow tie for the back. However I hear the 2011s have no hole in the trunk like the '10s do? If anyone knows if this is true and how to get around it without having to drill a hole in my baby please let me know.

New mods! I custom-painted and lettered the fuse box and engine cover. I posted a thread about it in cosmetics but wanted to add it here. I went with ABM instead of IBM because I'm doing aqua lighting under the hood and I wanted it to stand out from the black engine parts more. Plus... I love aqua

Just looked bad IMHO. If mine has one anything like that it will come off too!
I think advertisements for dealers should stay on the license plate frame...

Oh I agree, 68. I hated the tramp stamp. One day when it was 110* out I went and tugged on it; came right off, no gunk left over. Win.

Have added aqua blue interior lighting, just gotta wire in the footwells! Leather-wrapped loaded steering wheel, gill accents, steal splash guards and side marker kit were also ordered today-- and the CAI will be ordered this week

Will post pics as I make progress.

Gill trim in midnight silver
RPI Side Marker Blackout Kit
RPI Stealth Splash Guards
RPI "Objects in mirror are losing" decal
BBK Cold Air Intake
I have Ghost Armor for the radio face ordered, as well.

As a note, I love the gill accents. She looks vicious now

Yeah that piece of Camaro art under the hood is freaking bad ass. I wish I had a way to attach it there but I highly doubt it's heat resistent so I think I'll order a bowtie from emblempros instead...

Your car looks fantastic! Where did you get the ABM paint for the engine? And can you come paint mine? LOL. Seriously, I would like to get my hands on that paint. I love the gill inserts too. Bella looks sweet!

Thanks Melissa! It is actually a rattle can of Duplicolor aqua blue metallic. The gill inserts came from RPI designs. I will be glad to go through the process of painting the engine cover with you when you get yours.

Really awsome job on your car.

I only wish my IBM SS looked as clean as yours all the time. Just washed and waxed it this morning and it already looks dirty.
