LSR Performance install 2012 rear suspension on 2010 Camaro

OK since we are always testing we decided to see what it took to put the rear lca, end links and sway bar on a 2010. we pressed out the bushing and put a new /old one in. that was the most difficult part. here are the pictures. sorry about the quality but it is hard to get a SLR up in there lol. we will be going to the track this weekend to test.

How much would it cost? You would happen to have the part numbers for the front swaybar stuff would you?

Looks beefier than the current design. How much would an upgrade kit cost?

Does the fe4 have a bigger front bar as well? Revised location/endlinks?

The end links have been beefed up. The front bar is the same size, but its a solid bar now instead of a hollow bar.

Personally, I think this would be better suited if you replaced the control arm with a aftermarket one. I don't care for the thought of drilling my control arms to make this work. Is there any advantage over the stock location?

We used new control arms. We only used new parts straight from the dealer. No drilling was needed. All the new stock 2012 parts bolted right up after we did some bushing changes.

That makes more sense. Is there an advantage to having the sway bar end closer to the wheel or is this just something different to do?

Oh YES! it really makes a noticeable change. Your moving the mounting point to a spot where it will have a more direct effect. You could use a smaller diameter bar with the new location and achieve the same stiffness or anti roll characteristics. There is more to it but that is the gist of it. We have been working and testing on the 2012 cad info for some time now.
