turbonetics

Greetings,

Who is running a turbonetics kit and how do you like it? If you could, would you do something different?

Thanks for your time.
Robert.

It's the only smog legal turbo kit you can get. It has an issue with making a bit too much back pressure, but if you want a turbo kit and to stay smog legal, that is your only option.

I know they have a "stage 2" kit now that changes the turbo so I'm not sure how that one works as far as the back pressure issue or if it's even smog legal.

It isn't a bad kit.

Yes, sure do. I'll be home all weekend working on the yard. I'll send you a PM with my phone number. Just let me know when a good time for you is. I understand that it may not be this weekend, but when ever.

Thanks
Robert.

So how do you alleviate the back pressure and what's it caused from? Just trying to learn.

Thanks,
Robert.

Thanks,

Robert.

It's been a while since I talked to the shop about it but I want to say it was a piping issue. I can't remember if one needed to be changed due to size or what the issue was. Sorry.

That may have been corrected by changing turbos but I can't say for sure. I went with a Maggie instead. There are a couple of guys running the kit who used to post on here all the time so hopefully one of them can give you more info.

Good luck.

Rick
