Ok im confused. Is it a fix it ticket or a violation/fine?

If you have to take it off. Go to SD Tint in La Mesa if you want to put new tint on. Its like $70 for the fronts and they do awesome work. They did my back 3 and they are flawless.

It's a fix it ticket, I got quoted $50 and they'll remove it for free at first..
Would it be better if I just payed the ticket or remove the tint and re install it?

You need a cop to sign off on the ticket. He will want to see the car and make sure the tint is pulled. Unless you know a cop and he is cool. Sometimes they will sign off and not even bother looking at the car. Good Luck!!!

Its a "Fix it" which means just that, you have to get it fixed not pay a fine... once you get the LEO or campus fools to sign off on it then you can get it put back on if you want...

Fix it tickets are no big deal.. just dont get labeled a repeat offender. Those campus guys may keep an eye on you for a while to see if you tint it again. Just get it removed, have the LEO sign off on it, and wait a bit to put it back on. No biggie.

He told me that I can get it signed off any cop in California. I like my windows tinted :\.
Got to figure out a game plan quick..

SDCamaro10, you came out to Qualcomm? Were you the one checking out my car when it was parked in the front at the very end of the row? Or were you the one with a friend? I was in the blue sweater complimenting myself haha. No Camaro's at all except for the one white previous gen. That sucks.. Wanted to go in and go fast! But was checking this event out. It's good 'enough' if you don't focus on certain spots its awesome .

This happened to my friend when she was driving my car around. Except it was CHP that pulled her over. The copper ticketed her for the tint instead of giving her a speeding ticket. She elected to pay the ticket rather than get my tint removed.

Mr Ticket is a waste of money. Don't listen to those "Sea Lawyers" at the sub-base. You're not going to win a stop light violation. You can go to traffic court and do the same thing Mr Ticket is going to do for you for free. However, if you cannot make it to court due to work, etc..then Mr. Ticket can appear in your place.

Go to court, admit to the violation and ask the court if it's possible to reduce the fine based on recent financial obligations you have incurred. Providing you have a decent record, the commissioner will generally knock the fine down. Dress appropriately and use a lot of "Yes sir," and "No, sir."
Traffic school sucks and cost money, but it keeps it off your driving record if you're eligible. Good luck.

I was actually referred to them by another law office while I was trying to call around for information. I don't know how red light violations work, but I know a friend of mine in Texas got 6 violations of his dismissed with traffic lawyers. So, naturally I also started to look into it. What kind of fines do these accompany? I haven't had a violation in the last 4 years. Also, how much is traffic school? Thanks again.

A friend of my wife just got one. It's ridiculous. $500.00. That being said, I thought I heard something about the lights getting shut down recently due to either legal issues or cost to the City. You may want to inquire with Mitch (Mr Ticket). Doesn't cost to ask. The ticket thing's not my bag. I don't know how much traffic school is. I haven't been since I got a ticket in Pensacola Fl in 1996.

Mitch is good for some things, however, people can often accomplish the same thing at traffic court that an attorney can. Just trying to give you some food for thought so you can save some money.
