I'll have to see what's going on. I might be able to make it down for a few hours. Want to race but I'm still getting used to my car and my new hand controls.

Mostly just hanging out. We have reserved parking right by the track. We just get together and hangout and talk about camaros lol we do have a few guys that race on occasion.

Where do you guys get your performance parts from? Tuned? I'm wanting to get headers and a full exhaust for starters. I'd like to do all of the work myself BUT living in an apartment and having some issues physically it may not be feasible.

For headers and full exhaust your better off buying them from an online vendor here on Camaro5. You will get a better deal than anywhere else. I don't mean to pry into your business but judging by your screen name and you saying you have hand controls on your vehicle I'm not sure how much work you can do yourself when it comes to headers and exhaust. That being said, I would be more than willing to do the install for you versus sending you to a shop. I just installed long tube headers on my car a couple weeks ago and have hi flow cats and StainlessWorks 3" retro chambered catback. It sounds amazing. A shop will charge you around $450 just to install headers which in my opinion is waaayyyy too much for such a simple install. What headers and exhaust are you interested in?

I can wriggle under a car, given there is enough clearance. lol Left hand is limited in function. I'd love to be able to do the work myself. Current location not permitting. Haven't made up my mind on the set up yet. I'd like to hear them in person. I'm not sure whether to go with shorty headers or LT's...Thinking a meet up will help me gain some insight

Well I'd definitely be willing to help out with installs and such whenever your ready. Yea it definitely helps hearing everything in person. Most of us that meet up have aftermarket exhausts, a couple of us have headers with full exhaust, so plenty of options for you to listen to.

Long tubes are kind of a gray area here in California. They won't pass the visual inspection for smog because they move the cats from their factory position so their is a chance you might need to put your stock manifolds in when it comes time for smog. In January 2013, model year 2000 and newer vehicles only have to get a visual and OBDII diagnostic check for smog, no more sniffer test, so it should be relatively easy to find a smog pace that will overlook the long tubes. JBA and ARH shorty headers are CA smog legal but they don't give you the performance of full long tubes. The stock manifolds already flow very well so shortys are pretty much only good for an increase in exhaust tone.

Lol no secret phrase or handshake, just go in the main entrace of the stadium and turn right and follow the signs for RaceLegal. Some of us meet at the Staples in Mission Valley at 5pm to cruise into the stadium together.

What is your DIC reading after you fill up? Mines registering 250 miles until empty and Avg mpg is 14. Are your computers accurate or are you hand calculating it? This seems low on both range and mpg to me
