Are you gonna be swapping the rear or at least the clutch?

Pretty typical build for us not to special.

LS7 Block
Callies Crank
Manley rods
Mahle pistons
Custom grind cam
LS3 Cylinder heads- 2.18" Intake 1.60" Exh valves Lpe Hand Ported
Lpe Hand ported Intake manifold

Clutch is a custom built twin disc and custom built flywheel.

You can see the same engine on our site.

C'mon Andy. I know after talking to you (literally) that somewhere in that shop are enough tools (dial indicator, degree wheel) to get the specs on the cam.

.......and again we must wait and oh how we must wait......There seems to be an ongoing theme lately but it certainly leaves a lot to be looking forward to.

Cam - Haha

Cam is big,big enough to make 670 fwhp.

I have one also that made 620 fwp.Should drive alot better.

We will see how the car reacts to the big one first.

Cams have become something secretive over the years of the internet due to other vendors copying specs and selling similar products. I don't blame you for not making it public, but it hasn't been tested yet in a camaro in street trim, or race trim either.

I completely understand builders keeping secrets. That's all cool and OK with me. Thinking of it, when they find the "special ingrediant" it make them that much more marketable and reputable. I actually watch my machinist grind off the grind number on a billet roller and I knew back then why he did it and never asked.

I appreciate GREATLY the amount of R&D that ADM is investing to provide valid tuning information for their services.

I have a personal bag of money I am setting aside titled "Andy's Bag of Tricks".

I do have a related topic question and hope Andy or someone here can look into it.
Where is the dry sump resevior mounted and how is it mounted on the Corvette? Will there be enough room to put it and the external oil pump into the Camaro.

My thinking here is to merge both worlds for cost advantage and performance gain.
If you can buy the forged steel crank that allows an external pump and pulley and the separate oil pan (ie Canton) and the resevior there's potiential for a great reliable horspower combination....as long as there's room for all the external pieces.

Funny you should ask.

Our engine started life as a dry sump, but after many hrs of discussion we opted for the standard wet sump.We had to put a new crank in it and sell all the dry sump stuff(very much money by the way).

If your building a all out race car than I believe room can be made no problem.

I could understand the secrecy if it were his own grind but ... the first line in the first thread says "LPE shortblock". LPE has never been shy about sharing cam specs, heck, they'd just as soon sell you the same cam if you wanted to buy it.

They did try the Gt-19 (that is on their website) a few dyno pulls.I am not gonna run that 1.

I am still on the fence on what set of heads we have here for it.The ls7 made more peak power and the ls3 made way more low end torque...May keep the ls3 heads just for the extra torque. This car is no corvette featherweight

Featherweight ... LOL. Yah, I was looking at the combos MAST did and their LS3 427 made considerably more "average" power than thier LS7 427. (not to mention the dips in thier curves which I believe is due to thier cam selection) Too many people look only at peak numbers. Its critical to look at averages. Same thing with flow sheets. Either way, I'm sure it'll be a blast to drive

Gm is real good at getting you all excited for that first 30 days of ownership

Then we come along and make it happen all over again, but forever!

There is nothing like an all motor 427 pulling you back in the seat in every gear all the way to that very last gear.

What compression ratio pistons are you running, and at what point does the ls3/ls7 run in to interference issues with compression increase?
