The resonated X-Pipe (the front resonator) helps scavange the exhaust gases and it acts like a vacuum, this improves performance as well as the sound quality.
If I had a V6 this is the system I'd use, I almost ordered one! LOL! I'm going to wait a year or two though..... Z28!

Let me know if you have any questions. Have a great evening and stay warm!!!
Hmmmmmmmm....very nice! Better sounding than I expected. When you say "improves performance" in what manner? You better PM me pricing as well.

Gem, looks good! He did a great job and not bad on pricing either. Can't wait to see it in person.

That is the one I'm looking at. Magnaflow #16483. But talking to Jordan at JDP Motorsports that setup is best if your going to go big on HP...so it'll probably be the one I get!!

My guess is you'd mess with the back pressure on a pipe that big for the stock setup.

I just ordered the SLP Loudmouth II, It should be here next week. I had the regular Loudmouth on the old 2000 Z and really liked it until I put long tubes, then it was too loud. The beast got it's first oil change at 1407 miles today so is good to go.

We can get it to you much cheaper than you see it listed on our website! Let me know when you're ready and I'll take care of you!

That is 100% correct SSOOCH! The 3" system was really designed for 450+ RWHP. We're going to have some Maggie's here shortly that will take care of that!!

Kind regards,

Yeah, that Magnaflow Comp Series is what I was planning, sounds great, and JDP's pricing is great, best I found anywhere. But then I decided to just chop off the rear mufflers, and keep the center resonator (on automatics). Quite pleased with this setup now.

Nice pictures and stripes Gemini, they look great!

I'm not sure that you can order ground effects already painted. I think they all come dark grey and then you would have to have a local paint shop paint them for you.

I got caught in a light dusting of snow yesterday morning. I had been waiting for a friend to finish the front end work on my Blazer. I finally got it back last night at 11pm. So Camelle is now officially put away for the winter.

Gem and I stopped by Gus Paulos yesterday and took a look at the owner's Transformer Edition. Hot looking car! They had SSOOCH's twin and a ABM with CGM stripes sitting on the floor as well.

Have a good Sunday everyone!

I can't wait for Spring so we can all get together. It will be fun to meet the new members of our little group.

Ssooch I bet it will be really nice. Sheslc4 is planning some things as well.

I wanted the GFX when I ordered my car in June but I didn't due to the cost of it.

Have a nice snowy day..

Painted Ground Effects

I have painted ground effects on mine. I think it makes all the difference, unless you have other detailing on the car that ties the gray in. SSOOCH is correct. They come in gray only. I talked with several body shops regarding the paint. Based on my research, I had mine painted and baked twice. It's plastic so it's a bit fragile. I waited something like 3 weeks before I put them on the car. Then I had clear bra put on underneath.

I'll put some photos up in my profile that show the painted ground effects better.
