We use stock (blueprinted by us) gearboxes are required by the rules! Rolex cars are sequential.

Ty for the info. In the GS and GSR cars, are actually depressing/engaging the clutch each time or is it set up to switch gears without the clutch?

In regards to the sequential gearbox the rolex GTR cars use... Is it each teams own design or is their a transmission supplier like Jerico or something?

Rolex GT cars use Emco sequentials, or Xtrac sequentials. Flatshift is programmed into the ECU to cut ignition when leverage on the shift lever reaches enough load to set it into the next gear safely.

There are 2 variations. Full transaxle (differential and transmission in one) or gearbox only

One is stock replacement, that bolts up using stock hardware, shifter, everything. That gearbox is 27k, which is in the video above, and looks like this- http://www.lgmotorsports.com/Corvett...l-Transmission

The other is a full Indy Racing League based transaxle. That includes the differential, and axles. That cost is 70k+. The Grand Am rolex GT cars all use the full transaxle like this -

and mounted in the car-

Video here-
