Does anyone know how many 2012 45th camaro's will be made? There is one at my dealer now. Should I get before gone.

Yes, if it's the SS with 45 ann pkg.

Not sure on the build number, but from what I heard it's not extremely limited (other than only being built this year). Its not for me... I just never cared for the stripes... but if you want one then go for it!

I think the 45th ann is just a pkg you can add, isn't it?

From what I've heard. I'm no expert on it by any means. Should be as limited as buying one with a RS package in 11... if you want it you should be able to get it pretty easy. If I was misinformed on this... I bet someone will mention it. But as far as I know... thats how it is for the 12 models

Thank You for the info. I really wanted a blue one without strips but not an option for 2012. Don't really like strips either but the 45th package looks sharp. The Dealer told me that it is on production hold and only 40 had been built so far. But you know dealers! It is an SS looks like the RS pkg. is included. Think I will get it tomorrow.

I'm waiting on a 45th....Its package takes the place of RS. They were on constraint but are off now. GM is not limiting production according yo what has been published. Good luck!

It's cool because it is limited... its only on 2012. If you like it, get it. Mine HAD to be Orange, HAD to be a 2SS/RS, etc... Make sure its what you want and if it is then get it and it'll make you happy. I "settled" for a car on the lot once... 6 months later it was traded in and I was in my Camaro that I had built how I wanted it

I think I could be happy with the 45th pkg. Now what to do with th 1996 Z28 convertable? I will try to keep both. The Dealer tried to tell me it was like the Indy 500 car only 500 made. But we will see. Looks fun can't wait.

Also I heard the cluch is electronic, hard to find the friction point? Can't wait to try it to see.

we've got a 45th SS 'vert and we love it... the car will not be limited in its production, but you can get the car without the stripes if you order it... but it will still come with the seats, Carbon Flash Metallic color and wheels that are specific to the 45th anniversary edition

our clutch is easy to use and drive... I wouldn't let that stop you from getting it.

I really like this car I am considering trading up. They are special in that you cannot order that same color on another model. I think they also have a special wheel package.

45th is an package option much like RS and the 45th HAS the RS package added into it. Its not "limited" or "rare" only way that will happen is sales numbers. IE how meny people order the car WITH the package added to the price of the car
