What type of Diff?

I did about a 5 minute search and couldn't find anything out there, I'm sure it's been gone over, but I'm not wasting an hour trying to find it, so my question is....

What type of diff do the SS's come with? I'm pretty sure it's an LSD, but I spun the tires a couple of times turning out of somewhere and it only left a "one wheel wonder" mark. Once it left about 4 feet of 2 tires, and then transfered power to the one inside tire which of course leads me to believe it is a LSD. All this said, I had a big dodge ram that I installed a really nice LSD in, and it only put power to one tire when I lost ALL traction to one tire off-roading. It always spun both on the pavement, whether it was straight line or turning.

The clutch pack is on the weak side so it gives way too easy.

Upgrade to a 9" or LPE 9.5".

Other option is to contact Janetty in CT for their posi mod fix.

Any of these will enhance your Camaro's rear and make the rear diff much stronger.
