Question Best compliment you've ever gotten on your car?

Let's face it, we all love getting compliments on our cars! Today this happened to me-- and it happens pretty often-- I pulled up and parked next to an older man (late 50s early 60s probably) waiting in a Buick for his wife at the pharmacy. I got out, and he had the window rolled down, just looking at my car. His eyes kind of glazed over as he looked at the car, and he got a look on his face that was so sweet, like he was looking at my car and thinking about some other place in time, you know? Like remembering maybe when he had a first gen or something. I just think it's really cool when people get that look, the nostalgia. This car hits home for a lot of people and brings back cool memories! Anyway, he looked up at me and smiled and said, "you have a beautiful car, young lady." So... yeah. My best compliment. What's yours?

The best compliment I have ever received was at a red light next to a BMW M6 convertible and it was an older man. He looks over at me and says man that is one nice ride, that is one of the nicest rides I have seen. And dude is drivin a freekin M6

I have been told nice ride, but had one lady say she wanted to trade cars as she would look better in mine. Her young daughter egged her on, as you could see them just staring me down and talking..

Last night I had to run to the quick check and grab a gallon of milk for coffee and cereal in the morning, so im on the curvy back roads heading into town and pass an intersection where a car is stopped and waiting for me to go by. Well out pulls a little convertable of some kind behind me and gets a little close for me so I start going thru turns without having to use any brakes and just taking a slightly fast pace but not crazy, the car is still right behind me so i keep it steady and cruz into town. Not speeding but not taking it slow either.
I got to the light and he follows me in the same direction, so i make another turn and he is still behind me , im thinking its just coincedence because thats how you have to turn to get to town. needless to say he stays right behind me until I stop at the next light where theres two lanes and he pulls up next to me, he was older than me but not too old and he motions me to roll my r/s window down and just says..." Man thats the Nicest car I have seen in a looong time, I love it."
My reply was of course thanks and I told him Im a little scared to drive it because i know its going to get me into trouble some time. We just laughed together until the light turned green and went our seperate ways.
But this car does really seem to make alot of people stare and say wow. Like i did when I first saw one.

A guy at the gas station as I was pumping gas, he's walking around the car for a minute and says, "This is one of the new Camaros?", I'm like, "Yep"...then he stops and says "Oh, one of the really powerful V6s....beautiful car."

And yesterday, when stopping at the bank in the drive through.......the bank teller was ogling the car as I stopped, and then says, "That is one sharp vehicle." Then there was hesitation. She says, "Ooh, I need to open the drawer for you." lmao

Today I saw 2 girls young enough to be my daughters walking down the sidewalk. Stopped at the light and one yells over a suggestion on a trade for a ride. If I told you what she said, it'd be my 2nd infraction HAHAHA

Three.

1. Somebody kissed the driver side window and left perfect lipstick marks
2. A little boy at a car show said it looked like Lightning McQueen
3. A little Girl at a car show ran up to my car (windows were down) and before I could get mad that She put her dirty little hands all over the door to peak inside She took in a deep breath and said "THIS ONE SMELLS LIKE CHRISTMAS"!!! I use red little tree air fresheners.

My niece and nephew were visiting recently, and while riding in the car one said "This car is way cooler than dad's".

This week a 2012 Shelby pulled along side me to chat in traffic. He said how much he liked my car, and I drooled a tad at his too!

Back in 09 when I had my 2LT, a 5 year old and a 3 year old ran over to me in a parking lot with their parents. Had to look at a "bumblebee". I opened the door and let both of them crawl all over the thing. The kids were beaming and couldn't believe they were in a Transformer. Parents fell over themselves thanking me.

Gotta cultivate future gear heads!

Best for me was probably a Porsche 911 pulling up next to me in the middle of town and asking all about it, or the guy who mistakenly thought my car was for sale and asked me to explain the details (last i checked he ended up with a RJT)

Electron Blue was a beautiful color! My '02 Corvette Convertible never ceased to get compliments galore....I think mostly attributed to it's color. The Camaro has been no slouch for compliments and the best one was a pretty woman telling me how my car was so sexy looking!
