^no, you will be getting rid of your midpipes if you get long tubes.

I'm not sure what you're asking...
With long tubes you just replace the stock headers and the stock midpipes. Some long tubes come with high flow cats to replace your stock cats. Then you can either buy an axle back exhaust or a catback exhaust.

Im asking if having longtubes won't let you have catback exhausts anymore but you still answered my question thanks, and I think the BBK longtubes have highflow cats with it.

I'm not sure if this is technically performance, but i saw brakes on the front page, what about suspension upgrades? anyone have aftermarket sways, trailing arms, toe rod, etc?
I'm more interested in the trailing arms. It's not that expensive and an easy install. I hear they help with wheel hop and launching. Something that will definitely help with 60' times when drag racing... I know there's a suspension section, but it seems like there are nothing but SS's in that section. Just curious on what the v6'ers thought.

Anybody know how to remove and replace the shift knob on the manuel? An where can I get good dummy instructions on installing a pedder street 2 suspension and drop kit?
Dyk-NO, post info as soon as you get those long tube headers. I was thinking about getting a set of those with high flow cats.

if I remember right, the post O2 sensors are in between the 2 inline each side....why the hell the rear ones are inbetween them, I couldn't say. maybe I'm not remembering it right, but I think that's what I remember seeing.

well while im at it, Scrming, from this pic ^^^ im assuming that the elbow part of this pipe is the catalytic converter? which looks like is part of the whole thing so with that in mind it is not possible to buy an aftermarket converter?? cause my buddy sean had told me before i buy my CAI i should buy a magnaflow catalytic converter first, but after looking at this pic i dont think i can buy one, any suggestions?
Thanks, Louie & Sean |

K&N V6 Install (sooo seeeeple)
Just installed the K&N CAI in my ride, Was so easy I was afraid I was missing a step, Sure enough it was simple enough even I could do it. When I throttled it, the air filter was like a street hooker trying to get things done fast! Pictures included. Oh! one more thing! I bought this off Ebay on the VERY CHEAP. This is the seller, if you copy and search it will come up: performancetuners
Happy modding! |

V6 with V8 Cat Back Exhaust from Cherry Bomb
The deal is too hard to pass up. The sound is incredible if you like it REAL loud and the price is IMPOSSIBLE to beat. I recommend this set up for anyone thinking about an exhaust flop. Install from neighborhood shop took exactly 1 hr with it being their very first Camaro exhaust change. The shop I went to was incredible and took time to align the pipes right which I am not including in the 1 hr. Here are the pics I took:
Be sure if you do install an exhaust not factory that you have the tips stick out far enough. Another member had a serious issue with the gasses melting the ground effects. Be warned!

Last two pics I just took in the garage. Sorry-- a alittle carbon on the interior, easilly fixed but hard to keep clean since it's pretty much a straight through system!
