No no no. Removing material from the HEAD, not the rockers. lol...

The checking pushrod is too long also, need the shorter model. These rods will end up less then 7.8

yea, that could prove more difficult. my rockers were hitting the head /valve cover lip area...just had to take a little off the rocker...

Warning: Beck porn follows.

Going to spend some more time polishing it up, the top and runners especially (it WAS used after all...) but man oh man is this thing nice. Getting close.

Lookin' good! I really like your "shop", and seems your priorities are straight; #1 build engine. #2 hang pictures.

I don't remember reading in here, will your hood clear that intake?

Which throttle body and injectors will you be using in this build?

Im still laughin at you sayin you want 575hp to the wheels, homeboy Im pretty sure you're gonna blow that number away. With all the goodies and funny gas you'll have runnin thru it I hope you dont deprive us of a video with sound once you get it runnin. This beast is BAD ARSE!!!!!

Finished with the front timing cover clearancing. Was 100x bigger pain in the ass then expected, but its done and fits now. Got that on the motor, the cam sensor on, the front cover tightened/torqued, the front steam pipe on, the fuel rails assembled/built. Injectors come tomorrow, throttle body next week. All thats left after the TB is the pushrods, which are getting measured on tuesday. Real short now. Will add a few more pics tomorrow of the fuel rails and the long block ready to go.

Very very soon. TB comes tomorrow. The Intake is BARELY 11 inches tall. I still think it will fit. Might have to trim the inner hood skeleton some, but it SHOULD fit.

Can't wait to see that. Thinking about that Holley Hi-rise that Hot Rod tested in the last issue. It's about the same size as your Beck. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Nope, all of those fittings were exactly right. You can get away with 15 feet of hose if you dont want 20, I wanted some extra to have around for misc, side projects. OEM linkage works fine.

Great shots of the CNC work on the throttle body.

After a little bit of work to the rail mounts and a phone call, got the FIC1000s bolted down.

Go time very shortly.
