Vararam owners update?

So, it's been a while since the Vararam intake came out and many people installed it. I just wondered how you guys are liking it after having it for a while? I just ordered mine and I was just curious.

Early adopter here. After some minor fitment issues that were worked out, I'm pleased.

I like the look and the performance is there. How much remains to be seen until we see some time slips.

Couldn't be happier with mine....as another early adopter I had some issues with the intake moving and closing up the air intake, but all it took was some minor adjustments and now the thing doesn't move.

Car pulls good and sounds great.

A buddy and I went to the drag strip this past Monday. He had the vararam CAI and I have the injen short ram CAI. His best time was 14.506 and my best was 14.536. I'm not sure if the intake nets the 30hp gains as stated.

Well I have the Vararam and love it. That along with the MRT V1.0 exhaust is very nice. I have yet to drag my car, I will say from the light I passed a car afterword he asked, "what size engine you so have in that car?". I stated a V6, you should of seen his face.. Priceless!!!

Yes I love my Vararam also the customer service is excellent !!!

Couldn't be happier with my Vararam . . . I was one of the early adopters and had some fit issues. Vararam took care of everything in a first class manner and other members were extremely helpful in assisting me to get it to fit perfectly.

I'm loving mine. As others have said, worked out some fitment issues and its been great since. Now the only problem is trying to stay out of the throttle. Tires are gonna wear pretty damn fast if i don't.

Vararam

For kicks, I pulled the Vararam and reinstalled the K&N CAI in my Camaro and it was soooooo slow, I imediately went back to the Vararam and sold the K&N. The K&N was a great improvement over stock, but the Vararam is the best in my opinion. My car moved from 12.9s to the best of 12.69 with the Vararam. Going to Holley LS Fest to see if there's any further improvement after a true dyno tune!

Update with the chrome trim. As I said before, this was a PITA to install but well worth the trouble.

After the install it would try and walk off the ends but I kept on pushing it on there and after awhile it behaved and it's conformed with the underside of the hood. No need to play with it any longer.

Holds up the flimsy rubber and looks good IMHO.

Pics from today after about 3-4 weeks.

67GTO, awesome idea, did it today , small screwdriver helps in push the rubber into the trim. but makes it look cleaner.
